David Moyes Sacked By Sociedad

Real Sociedad have parted company with manager David Moyes after less than a year in charge at the Anoeta.
The former Manchester United boss struggled to make an impact in the Basque Country, departing with the side in 16th place having collected just nine point from their opening 11 games this season, only out of the relegation zone thanks to goal difference.
The Txuri-urdin lost 2-0 away at relegation rivals Las Palmas which looks to be the final straw for club president Jokin Aperribay.

Moyes took the team to 12th place last season and invested in the summer, spending €16m on Asier Illarramendi and €7.6m on the striker Jonathas but fortunes have no improved.
During the summer the Scot had the chance to return to the Premier League and will be a strong candidate for a role that becomes available in the English top flight.
For the majority of his time in San Sebastian Moyes had stayed in a hotel, only recently moving into a flat in the Basque city.

Arsenal Boss Eyes Summer Clear-outs

The midfield trios' contracts are set to expire at the end of the season and it is understood the Gunners are planning for life without them, claim the  London Evening Standard . Euros Disappointments a lesson for Martial, says Deschamps

  France coach Didier Deschamps believes Anthony Martial is a revitalised player after looking "exhausted" at Euro 2016. Following a fine first season in the Premier League with Manchester United, in which he scored 11 goals in 31 appearances, Martial failed to have much of an impact on France's run to the final on home soil.
