Falcao's grandmother criticises Mourinho & Van Gaal


The 29-year-old's grandmother believes the striker has not been given a chance at Chelsea and feels the managers he was worked under have not been "explicit" with him

 Radamel Falcao’s grandmother believes the striker has not been given enough playing time at Chelsea and feels Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho have not been “explicit” with him.

The 29-year-old scored only four goals in 29 appearances during his season-long loan spell at Manchester United last season, and has played just 192 minutes in the Premier League following his move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

When asked if she could explain Falcao’s inability to replicate the performances he showed before his cruciate ligament injury in January 2014, Dona Denis King Garcia told El Universal: “I do not understand what happened. 

"After the injury he suffered last year before the World Cup he has tried to return and has played some good matches; but I also think the coaches he has worked with have not been explicit with him. 

“You have to show confidence in him because that is the only way he can return to what he used to be [before his injury].

“At first he was used a lot, but after that he has been used very little; in those 10 or 15 minutes he's being given he can't do anything.

“And so it is very difficult for him. You have to give him more time to do what he does best.”

Mourinho Punishment Too Much - Pulis

Mourinho And Pulis West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has questioned who will benefit from the £50,000 fine that has been handed to Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho. After his seven-minute outburst in the aftermath of his side's 3-1 defeat to Southampton, Mourinho has been fined the five-figure sum by the Football Association, as well as been given a suspended one-match stadium ban.
