Eden Hazard's Penalty Woes Continue Against Andora

The Chelsea star calmly slotted his first spot-kick past Ferran Pol but his second lacklustre attempt was comfortably saved
Hazard penalty nightmare
Eden Hazard’s misery in front of goal continued on Saturday as the Chelsea midfielder’s nonchalant approach to penalties backfired in Belgium’s 4-1 win over Andorra.

After a first half which only contained a glimmer of his guile and craft, Hazard was given the chance to restore Belgium’s two-goal lead from the penalty spot in the 56th minute.

The Chelsea midfielder’s cool approach appeared to outfox Ferran Pol and the ball trickled past the Andorra goalkeeper.

Hazard then had the opportunity to double his tally 12 minutes from the end but this time his tame effort was easily saved by Pol.

Belgium ran out comfortable winners in Andorra and have booked their place at Euro 2016 with the victory.

Hazard has already missed a penalty this season after he blasted the ball over the bar in the 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv at Stamford Bridge.

Vardy: It Was Easy To Reject Arenal Move

Jamie Vardy says it was easy for him to reject a move to Arsenal, insisting both his head and his heart told him to stay at Leicester City. After playing a crucial role in last season's surprising Premier League title win, the England international was the subject of a bid from the Gunners which triggered his £22 million release clause. Instead, the striker opted to remain at the King Power Stadium and signed a new deal with the Foxes. And Vardy, 29, says it was an easy decision to make. “I was in a hotel room [in Chantilly] for so many hours of every day with nothing to do. You had a lot of time on your hands," he told The Guardian . “I am not going to beat around the bush – every time I thought about it, and every aspect of it I thought about, both my head and my heart were saying to stay at Leicester, which is why I made my decision to stay. “There were loads of reasons. You get that much time to think about, every single thing down to the tea lady. You think about w...
