Can Van Gaal Lift First Old Trafford Silverware ?

Manchester United Boss LVG Anthony Martial Of United

Crystal Palace and Manchester United will bring the curtain down on the English football season as they do battle in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
It’s been a season Eagles fans won’t be happy with. Having started strongly, their form tailed off in the second half of the campaign, winning just two league matches. The road to the FA Cup final is however a different story as Alan Pardew’s men saw off heavyweights like Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton.

The Eagles have won their last three matches at Wembley and are victorious in six of their last seven FA Cup ties against Premier League opposition. They are (5.25) with Nairabet for a maiden title.
This season has equally been a disappointing for Louis van Gaal with Premier League, Champions League and Europa League contention all fall out of his gasp. Winning this competition is the only thing that could remove the blemish. United haven’t recorded FA Cup success since 2004 and were victorious against this same side in the 1990 edition in which Pardew played. The Red Devils are favourites at (1.35) with the same firm for a record equalling 12th title.
A draw stands at (3.60).

United have won 15 of their last 20 games against the Eagles. They are (2.45) to win to nil. With a fit back line bar Luke Shaw at Van Gaal’s disposal, his side are (1.95) to keep a cleansheet.
Anthony Martial has been involved in six of the Red Devils 12 FA Cup goals this season. The Frenchman who will finish this campaign as top marksman is (2.95) with Nairabet to score anytime.
Marcus Rashford has been a revelation since making his first team debut against FC Mitdjylland in the Europa League back in February. The teenage sensation has scored eight goals from just 14 shots on target in all competitions.

The Manchester United winger has acknowledged his form is "not very good" at present, but rejected suggestions he is selfish Netherlands winger Memphis Depay has rejected Danny Blind's suggestion that he is not a team player and insists he is working as hard as ever to rediscover his best form. Klopp An Unlucky Man In Cup Finals

Jurgen Klopp said he has never been on the lucky side of a wrong decision in a final after his Liverpool team lost 3-1 to Sevilla in the Europa League final on Wednesday. In his post-match news conference, Klopp was asked by a German reporter for his thoughts on Andujar Coke's second goal after the referee overruled his linesman on an offside call. Replays later showed that the ball had clearly come off Philippe Coutinho into the attacker's path but Klopp said it was the first time had ever seen a referee overrule his linesman. "I've had a lot of games as a coach but it is not that often that a referee overrules the linesman," the German said. "But right after the match someone said it was the right decision because Coutinho has played the pass." Klopp said he felt like he never had luck in finals, having seen at least two penalty appeals waved away in the first half. "You speak German so I guess you've seen some finals...
