The former Newcastle and France star is awake after
being taken to a specialist cardiovascular unit in Monaco following the
accident which took place after playing football
According to Goal sources, the ex-Newcastle and Tottenham winger is recovering at the Centre Cardio Thoracique of Monaco, a specialist cardiovascular unit in Monte-Carlo.
Ginola, 49, is awake but there is currently no update on his health status.
He enjoyed a seven-year spell in the Premier League following his move from Paris Saint-Germain in 1995.
Ginola won 17 caps for his country and lifted the League Cup with Spurs in 1999.
